In the sections below, I’ve highlighted the three main focal points of photography that I offer. Each section offers a brief description of the subject, the basic plans available, as well as any specials or discounts offered. Packages can be individually tailored to you and all prices currently listed are for private clients.

Animal Portraits

  • Looking for some playful, majestic, or otherwise sentimental photos of your animal companion(s)? I have more than a decade of experience working with animals in rescue, training, and rehabilitation and will work with you and your pet to capture the essence of your furry family on camera.

    Whether you’ve got a couple of outgoing pups, a couch potato, or maybe a fluffball that’s a bit more reclusive, I can not only work some photo magic with your four legged friends but maybe even give them a boost of confidence too.

    30 Minute Session (Starting at $125)

    60 Minute Session (Starting at $200)

    15 Minute Acclimation/Enrichment Add-On ($20)

    *Enrichment sessions are available for animals that are shy or fearful of humans and/or cameras and other equipment. I will take as much time as is necessary introducing myself/cameras/and anything else needed to your furry companions (I do my best to avoid causing stress and will not photograph an animal that clearly shows me they are uncomfortable). If you have a severely phobic, reactive, or otherwise aggressive pet, I can refer you to my partner who specializes in behavior modification and training.

  • Schedule permitting, I will take on low or no cost sessions for shelters, rescue organizations, and foster animals to help boost their publicity and find them forever homes. If you need assistance, please contact me directly at encryptedritual@gmail.com

Portraits & Storytelling

  • This option is useful whether you are just looking to liven up an online profile/social media, you are looking to capture some keepsakes of yourself (and/or someone else), or you are looking to create something on a grander scale.

    “Storytelling” expands beyond a portrait of physical self and becomes a portrait of a day in your life (or whatever personal story you decide to weave that day). Ian will photograph for a half or full day session where you can go about your day as normal or do whatever you’d like (go through your wardrobe, create multiple scenes, etc…) and images will include you and other focal points of the story you live that day.

  • In an effort to help support the communities I am most involved in and care about, I offer sliding scale and discounted packages for BIPOC, marginalized people, queer folk, and sex workers. I am also open to discussing free work for community events and fundraisers involving these communities depending upon my schedule.

Nature & Landscaping

  • Whether you have a smaller garden or acres worth of landscaping, Ian can help you capture a collection worthy of a coffee table photo book or framing to display on your walls.


    Landscape and nature photography booking are available whether you are looking to
    create a personal collection or something that you wish to share with the public (like a virtual tour for those unable to leave their homes or travel).
